We’re all afraid of rejection.

We don’t ask certain things to people although we’re dying to get an answer. We don’t voice our opinion or act like we want to at times, all because of a simple fear and nobody can deny this, even though, we might not accept this publicly but we know that we’re all afraid of rejection.
We’re afraid that someone doesn't feel the way we do, that someone might say no to us, someone might deny us our right or something that we want. We think too much about what others think, say, do and infer. We think too much about getting denied, we think too much before saying or doing something.  It is strange how we preconceive an opinion, an answer even before knowing what’s going to happen. The truth is we miss out on a lot of stuff only because of this particular fear. Sometimes we lose a life changing opportunity and other times we lose the most important person in our lives. All because of some fear we can’t overcome? Is it worth it? Does it make sense to hold back just few words just because you’re afraid of being rejected or is it okay to act or not act in a certain way because you think a handful of people won’t approve of it. I might be a no body to pass my judgment but all I've learnt through my experiences is that no, this fear is not worth holding back our feeling, our opinions and questions.  I might not always practice what I say but we’ll all agree that if we eliminate this fear of rejection from our lives we can achieve a lot of things. Sometimes it might work otherwise and result in losing something or someone, but then you did gain something too, you overcame your fear of being rejected and told life in its face, “Bring it on, buddy.”

Find something good in everything.

There are good and bad times, but our mood changes more often than our fortune.
Thomas Carlyle

A coin has two sides, and so does everything else. there's always a good part in bad, a happy in sad. Maybe its hard to look for a better side when we're feeling helpless and lost but once we have found it we get a reason to come out of our gloom and live a better life ..  We limit ourselves when we see and focus on only things that are bad. There is always something good out of anything, and we tend to look past something .. There is always a light inside everyone of us and so is the power to overcome the darkness and move towards the light..

There has to be another side of the story, a way out of the mess, an unopened door. It was always there and it will be. Find it, Find that better side of this beautiful mess called life.

The best quote by Mother Teressa

Photographs! (Are photographs merely photos?)

This blog is to all the photography lovers.
No matter how the sophisticated the camera, the photographer is still the one who makes the picture. ~ Doug Bartlow
Photographs, are not just memories, neither just a specific place, nor a dear person captured in time. Has anyone ever asked this question to oneself? Or has anyone looked at a picture and then looked and felt beyond just what he could see? Perhaps, one has or maybe not.
This might sound narcissistic but recently I was admiring a picture of myself. Yes, looking at myself and thinking oh how nice I look, probably that kind only but then I felt there's much more to it for instance the photo said volumes about the kind of person I am. I was confused because why that ordinary place, why I that dress (I was trying my sisters new cloths when she wasn't looking)wink and still I seem to love that particular picture. And then the random string of thoughts pushed me towards deep thinking and I found my answer to why? .. why, because i felt myself in the photograph to be more precise the photo had captured my soul. People might wonder how a soul can be captured! I know, true it might sound lame, but somehow the click wonderfully captured the person I am.
And that was just a small incident, which had happened to me even before with another pic of mine but this time I went deeper because of a small reason I'd mention later. And then the trail of thoughts made me wonder are photographs just merely pictures of a place, people or objects.? Well no, I don't think so. Every photograph has a story to go with it. Sometimes the story is so clear that you can see a strangers face and make it out. Sometimes it might conceal an untold story, a hidden truth. Whatever it might be, there has to be one.
Apart from that captured story there's another thing which I believe it captures - the photographer's feelings, his mood, and most importantly his perspective. One can show you only what one wants you to see through their photographs. This for me is quite amusing because very beautifully a photographer can decide what we see in a picture but how we see it is totally up to us.
The reason I mentioned above which lead me to which lead to write about something as simple as 'photographs', which for some might just mean a captured memory but hopefully for many others like me might mean much more is a mere application called 'Instagram' It's a worldwide famous app used by billions and have even more users than twitter. Basically its a photo sharing site for photography lovers. It's amazing to see thousands of people capturing their 'feelings' in a click. And yes indeed IG inspired me to look into every photograph and see beyond it.
In the end just a small request, I'm not saying every person can understand the depth of a picture but if you ever happen to come across such a picture which you feels captures your soul or the photographer's soul, do share it, with anybody you feel like, just share. Spread the love for photography and obsession with photographs.
Love All. :)

Everything Ends ....

Everything ends..
Every story has an end. It is not necessary that it will be beautiful. Sometimes its a sad ending, sometimes it shatters us into pieces but, if it doesn't kill us it will only make us stronger, a better person, with experience. That is why we survived the end, to step into another better story with better people and even better ourselves.
It is said, 'When one door closes, another one opens but we often look at the closed door with so much gloom that we miss that open door.'

Someday somehow everything has to come to an end. The world is made that way.  Something new comes up only when we let go of our past. And when one of our dreams comes to an end, we get to go after another dream of ours .!
And that's the best thing about life. Endings are just new beginnings....

So look for the open door and find that little good thing in everything .

Things end to make way for better one's .... :)

Spread Love .!!

An afternoon in the park.

This is a story I read few years ago in a very popular series book called "The Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul" I'm so obsessed with this book that I call it my anti-depressant. This particular story is one of my favorite, it teach us that it has always been and always will be a matter of perspective, how we see things and not how the things ordinarily are. Enjoy. :)

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with food and drinks and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink when he saw the old woman looked hungry, so he offered her some. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her some food. Once again he smiled at him . The boy was delighted .!
They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face.
She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"
He replied' "I had lunch with God" But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home.
Her son asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?"
She replied, "I ate with God today in the park" But before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than i expected"

Figuring our ‘Life’

Life is obviously weird, when you think you've got all the answers; the questions changes.
People don’t change but their feelings do and so does their priorities. We find that the people who were meant to be at our sides forever are no more there, instead we have a new bunch of people around us at every phase of lives, sometimes replacing the old ones and creating a unique place in our heart and sometimes just to push us low and leave us heartbroken.
Every person has a story behind their existence. A reason, behind their situations and reactions. We often look at someone and easily create a preconceived idea about them, their lives without even getting to know them. We tend to do what the majority is doing. Nobody would walk up to a person having no friends and be friends with him because nobody else does. To figure out what life is we must do what others are not doing. We must lie for others. We must realize that the person who is always laughing and smiling doesn’t have a perfect life either but they choose to be that way. The choice is purely ours. Everything might seem hopeless and your world might be falling apart for some reason. But remember somewhere someone is happier with less than what you got. Someone is going through even worse situations and is doing everything to overcome it all.
The ultimate thing to life which gives it meaning is that ‘it goes on’ no matter what. When your world is shutting in and you’ve got nothing to do and nobody to lean on, there is only one thing you can do, only one way out and a common answer to all unsolvable and difficult questions in life i.e.
“Move On” ….
Yes, I figured out what life is. Life is to move on from things and people who pull you down, who’re not making you a better person with time. Moving on from relations, feelings, failures and situations which are holding you back and keeping you from being happy. Happiness is what we all deserve, work for it. Love is what everyone is made for, spread it. :)

Me, and my guitar…

Me, and my Guitar.
A silent night when you are near, a little vibration touch my soul, makes me full of life, full of wonder. To define what you are that is my goal. Up and down, up and down my fingers walk through your lonely lanes. Searching, teasing, chasing that one thing that drives me insane. Smiling tears, tearing smiles, the surreal moment for a while, takes me to a world I know, a world where I’m the star of the show. And deep inside the core that is where I want to be, that is what that’s making me, believe that I’m actually the star. Me, and my Guitar…
